Echo of Death Now for Sale!

Echo of Death is now for sale and already has some nice feedback on Amazon. In the forthcoming weeks there will be a paperback version too.

I originally came up with the idea after years of watching programmes like The Avengers, The Persuaders, Randall and Hopkirk, etc. I loved them as a child and found they had not lost any of their charm when released on dvd years later. These shows had so many familiar faces although many of them were not well known names. Further investigation told me that a lot of the actors had passed away, some to my surprise a few years after filming the shows. Then one day I was working in Lower Hayford and saw Freddie Jones. Amazingly the children and I had watched him in an episode of The Avengers from 1968 the night before!

Shortly after this I began to write Echo of Death. A story about a one time successful actor now down on his luck who claims to have seen another actor alive and well in London. Only this actor, Dorothy Kite, was supposedly killed in a plane crash thirty years before.

The Confessions of a Deliveryman 2

Happy to say that Confessions 2 is now selling as well as the first volume. Thanks to all of you who have supported the series. I may add a third volume in the new year. In the meantime I'll be focusing on Sladek and the Red Ripper so if you haven't already had a look at Echo of Death this is a good time. Come on you know you want to.

The Story So Far

Now I have three books on the market - with over a hundred reviews on Amazon alone - I've decided I need to be a little more professional about what I do and how I plan to promote all forthcoming titles. I started the blog under the publishing name of Bally Books over a year ago, yet since its inception I have hardly updated it at all.

After the success of Confessions 1 I decided on a volume 2, which I am happy to say is now matching Volume 1 in terms of sales and positive reviews.

Despite positive reviews for Echo of Death however, a thriller that introduces Gerry Bosko, a second generation Pole police inspector based in London, this is doing less well. To be honest I half expected a slow start as this is a new market for me and a very competitive one. Nevertheless, like Bosko himself I'm a fighter and I don't give up easy!

I'm currently in the process of writing the first of a quartet of thrillers featuring another Pole (and again another police inspector!) called Sladek. The first book is set during the world cup in 1990 where Sladek discovers a link between child abuse and Westminster.

Another novel by the name of God's Will will also appear in the new year.
